Ubers and taxis are both available in town and are very safe methods of transportation. We suggest carrying around pesos if you will be taking taxis. Most places around SMA are a walkable distance from recommended accommodations.

We do recommend bringing some cute or comfy sneakers/shoes to walk around in. The streets of San Miguel de Allende are cobblestone, so walking in heels or wedges can be nearly impossible. The wedding ceremony and reception will be at the same venue, so heels can be worn for the wedding day!

San Miguel can get chilly at night! The city is located in Mexico's central highlands, not the beach. Expect highs of 70-80°F and lows of 50-60°F. There is a chance of rain during September, however showers usually last <30 minutes when they do occur!

As much as we love your kids, due to the limited venue capacity kids will unfortunately not be able to attend the wedding ceremony or reception. Thank you for understanding!
